Biblical Preaching. Reverent Worship. Historic Christianity.
We are a group of believers committed to glorifying God in our worship and life together in a way that is Christ-centered, rooted in the gospel, and Reformed by conviction. Do you live in the greater Montgomery County area and find yourself spiritually starved? Do you long for solid Biblical worship, teaching, and fellowship? Have you ever heard of the Savoy Declaration, Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession, Canons of Dort, Reformed theology, the Protestant Reformation, or the Doctrines of Grace?
Because Reformed churches are in such short supply, we have come to the area. Contact us so that we can work together and pray together to see if the Lord is calling you to join us in raising up a new Reformed church in Montgomery County.
To make known the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ and build up the Church in sanctification.
The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are breathed out by God, without error, fully authoritative, and sufficient for Christian faith and life. All of Scripture testifies to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Our understanding of Scripture is called “Reformed” in keeping with the Protestant Reformation of the 16th Century, and is spelled out in the The Savoy Declaration of Faith and Order (1658) and the Heidelberg Catechism.
We are devoted to God’s glory above all human preferences.
We hold to the “regulative principle of worship,” meaning that all the activities in public worship must be specified in Scripture. This lets us worship with a clear conscience and confidence that God is pleased. We see our worship as a conversation between God and His covenant people, mediated by Christ (who is represented by His ambassador).
We sing both Psalms and theologically sound hymns, and devote much time in our worship to the study of God’s word which gives us life.
